Changing Some Events

If i will change one event in the Illiad, I will change the event where Helen chose to be with Paris. If Helen did not do that thing, maybe there will be no problem for them. There will be no war and they will avoid seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Each of their kingdom will live peacefully and far from war. In my own version, I want to end the story by Menelaus realizing that a true man is willing to give up his love for the other if the person is not happy with him. Then, Menelaus will let go of Helen and allow her to be with her true love. After that, Menelaus will move on and try to find his way how to live without Helen. Paris and Helen will be with each other and the story ends happily and peacefully.
